About the project
All activities in the project are aimed at improving the conditions for increasing the number of citizens in Överkalix in both the short and long term. The project will focus on local production with new methods for building homes in the Compact Living genre and low-energy houses that are permeated with an environmental mindset. At the same time, the existing stock will be managed by creating interest in selling houses that are empty. In this way, the project wants to develop the countryside and make it attractive to many. Diversity, equality, a positive attitude and good service are important in Överkalix.
Purpose and goals
The purpose of the project is to create good and effective conditions for receiving immigrants and supporting potential immigrants to Överkalix in their relocation process. This focuses on promoting equality and equal treatment, working with social sustainability and creating a positive environment.
The goal of the project is to inventory plots and houses for sale within the Överkalix municipality, inventory vacant positions, inventory commuting labor, recruit ambassadors in the villages, establish collaboration with Isolamin and create marketing campaigns.
