Sometimes our support is not right for your idea, but we are happy to help you try other funding. Below you will find tips on other support to apply for. The list is not exhaustive and we mainly recommend the larger organizations that complement Leader Polaris' activities for the development of the area.
General Inheritance Fund
It is primarily civil society non-profit associations that apply for and are granted funds, but there are exceptions.
Local support Applications are being made for the conversion, extension or new construction of a premises or facility that is needed to start a new business for one or more of the fund's target groups. Support can be provided with up to 80 % of the project's costs and a maximum of 6 million SEK incl. VAT.
Project support Applications are being sought for initiatives that involve developing or further developing a working method, meeting place and/or activity. Support can be provided with up to 100 % of the project's costs, no limit on the amount.
To receive money from the Inheritance Fund, the project must include at least one of the four target groups:
– Children 0 – 11 years old
– Young people 12 – 25 years old
– People who have reached the age of 26 and have a disability
– Elderly people who have reached the age of 65
Region Norrbotten
Business support. If you want to start a business or develop your existing business, you have the opportunity to apply for financial support if you have difficulty obtaining financing on the private market.
Project support. For initiatives that contribute to sustainable development and growth in the county. Max 50 % in support.
Cultural support. For initiatives that strengthen the role and importance of culture in Norrbotten. Funds can be applied for for specific initiatives, operational support and scholarships
Norrbotten County Administrative Board
Municipalities, companies, associations and other organizations can receive support for various projects or investments that develop rural areas.
National Board of Housing, Building and Urban Development
Investment grants for public meeting rooms.
Can be given for new construction, extension, conversion and purchase of public meeting facilities, as well as for measures in the premises that will improve its standard, accessibility or energy efficiency. Folkets Hus och Parker, Våra Gårdar and Bygdegårdarnas riksförbund are national organizations that the National Board of Housing, Building and Planning collaborates with on grants for public meeting facilities. The organizations have building administrators who can help their members with the application process.
