Privacy Policy

As of May 25, 2018, the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into effect in Sweden and the rest of the EU. The regulation regulates how we as a business are entitled to process your personal data when you are/have been in contact with us. The main purpose of GDPR is to protect people's right to protection of their personal data and their privacy.

What is personal data?

Personal data is information that can be linked to you as a person in some way. It can be, for example, your name or social security number. But it also includes images, films and audio recordings in which you participate and can be identified. 

What personal data is processed within Leader Polaris?

The association only keeps records of persons/organizations and their contact information when there is objective basis for:

• Conduct our daily operations through employed staff and a paid board of directors.
• Convey information or provide support and guidance on a specific issue to external stakeholders.
• Carry out processing of projects that have applied digitally via the Swedish Board of Agriculture's website.

The association does not process any personal data for any purpose other than to fulfill our mission in accordance with the agreement the association has signed with the Swedish Board of Agriculture.

When you submit an application for project support

The Swedish Board of Agriculture processes the personal data that you provide when you use any of their e-services. All data is saved electronically. The Swedish Board of Agriculture also provides the data to other authorities and to EU institutions for corresponding purposes in accordance with EU legislation, law or regulation.
