Less support for shorter initiatives in leisure and culture!

Association checks 2.0

Support for development projects in leisure and culture

Organizations that conduct non-profit activities can apply for support for development initiatives in leisure and culture such as:

  • Creates, further develops or preserves meeting places
  • Creates, further develops or preserves activities/events
  • Creates recurring events
  • Restores a natural or cultural environment

How much can you apply for?

Up to SEK 25,000. An additional SEK 5,000 may be granted to projects where several associations collaborate, or to projects that have young people and/or people with different ethnic or cultural backgrounds as participants and target groups. This must be clearly demonstrated in the application.

Something else to think about!

• The return requested is that people in the association are willing to get involved and work for a certain amount of time on a voluntary basis in the project.
• The benefit should accrue to a wider public.
• The project duration may be a maximum of 6 months.
• You may not begin the project until you have received a decision on your application.
• You cannot apply for support for regular operations or for activities that can be carried out even without the support.
• You cannot apply for support as co-financing for a larger project.
• The organization must be able to cover 50% of the costs until the project is completed.
• An organization may not apply for multiple vouchers at the same time. The limitation is made by having a new application processed by the leader office only when a final report regarding the previous sub-activity has been received.

When is a decision made?

Upcoming decision meetings are:
– Tuesday, May 5, the deadline for complete application is Monday, April 27.
– Wednesday, June 3, the deadline for complete application is Wednesday, May 27.

If there are more applications than can be processed during one meeting, they will be prioritized in the order in which they were received in full by the Leader office. A complete application means that all questions have been answered in the application, a correct budget has been prepared and that it is signed by an authorized signatory.

How do we proceed?

If you are unsure whether your idea can be implemented with support from Association vouchers, please contact Nina at the leader office first.

After that, you fill out an application form and a budget. You email these to the leader office. If any additions or clarifications need to be made to the application, you will receive feedback about it.

When your application is complete (i.e. all questions in the application are answered, a correct budget is attached and the application is signed), it will be queued for the decision-making group.
