Purpose and goals
The purpose of the project is to enable faster processes for ideas that need to be investigated through feasibility studies and increase the likelihood that any implementation projects will be completed during the program period.
The goal is for at least three feasibility studies to have been carried out within the framework of the umbrella. All feasibility studies must be compiled in reports that state:
– Description of the activities carried out in the project
– What new knowledge has the preliminary study led to?
– What happens to the results now that the feasibility study is over (if and if so, how the results will be put into practice)
Approved sub-projects:
- Living and accessible local history farm, Jokkmokk's new local history association, Jokkmokk.
The project will investigate needs and development opportunities for the local history farm. This includes, for example, contacts with the County Administrative Board and Jokkmokk Municipality regarding any permits or obstacles to implementing interventions in the area, as well as with professionals in construction, electricity, glazing, etc. for opinions on practical interventions.
The aim is to have the opportunity to preserve and care for Jokkmokk Hembygdsgård, the unique and valuable buildings and the associated farm environment. Also to develop the area into a cultural meeting place and a tourist destination.
The goal is to develop a basis for what can and needs to be implemented to create a heritage site that can be used for various activities for the public, visitors and others.
